Fairdealing crash injures one person

A 41-year-old Arnold, Missouri, man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, on Highway JJ, four miles south of Fairdealing.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Nathan D. Kissee was operating a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor southbound when it ran off the right side of the road.

Kissee reportedly overcorrected, which caused it to run off the left side of the road, where it struck a ditch and overturned.

Kissee was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Kissee was arrested at 5:58 p.m. on suspicion of DWI, no insurance, no seat belt and failure to drive on the right half of the road. He was released.
