The Stage Company of Poplar Bluff will open it’s new production ‘Exit Laughing’ on Friday.

The show, which is not recommended for children, features middle-aged women from Birmingham, Alabama, who get together for a weekly bridge game. After one passes away, the other three do the most daring thing they’ve ever done to bring her to the next week’s game.

The play, written by sitcom writer Paul Elliott, also features one of the women’s daughters, a cop and cat.
