CAPE GIRARDEAU — The Associated General Contractors of Missouri will host an industry-focused economic forecast session on Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Century Casino in Cape Girardeau.

Registration opens at 3:30 p.m., followed by a presentation/discussion from 4 to 5 p.m.

The scheduled speakers are: Bill Emmons, economist and assistant vice presidents of the Federal Reserve Bank in St. Louis; John Mehner, chief executive officer of the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce; and Ed Hassinger, chief engineer for the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The event will help members get a better understanding of pending projects and what challenges face the industry in 2020 and beyond.

The Associated General Contractors of Missouri is a trade association for the commercial construction industry with more than 500 members throughout the state, including in Southeast Missouri.

Guests are welcome to attend at a non-member rate.
