Dr. Alexandra Bors joins the Regional Physician Services general surgery team

Dr. Alexandra Bors joined the medical staff at Regional Physician Services and will perform evidence based surgical procedures at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Bors offers quality care and a variety of treatments, specializing in breast surgery and open/complex abdominal surgery, as well as laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

Other disorders, treatments and procedures include diverticulitis, hemorrhoids, hernia repair, colon surgery, enteral access, oncologic procedures, removal of skin and soft tissue lesions, as well as many other services.

“As a general surgeon, I have the opportunity to treat patients with various medical conditions who require surgery,” said Bors. “I am honored to be part of the medical staff team and work in a multi-disciplinary facility providing quality care, close to home.”

Bors obtained her residency from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, in Kansas City, Mo and her medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Dutch Caribbean and is board eligible in general surgery.

She completed her undergraduate education, B.Sc., from York University in Toronto, Canada.
