Dorothy Dever, 87, of Paragould, Arkansas, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Green House Cottages Of Belle Meade, in Paragould.
Mrs. Dever was born Thursday, Jan. 26, 1933 in Steele, Missouri, daughter of the late Joseph and Beuna Farris.
On Dec. 24, 1951, she married Freeman Leroy Dever Jr. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 2020
She is survived by four daughters: Sharon (Joseph) Crowe of Tamaroa, Illinois, Deborah (Alvin) Arthur of Paragould, Pamela Dever of Roach, Missouri, and Lisa ( Chris) Miller of Camdenton, Missouri; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Bill Farris, Don Farris and Sandra Ferrel.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, at White Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Joseph Crowe and the Rev. Bradley Arthur officiating. Burial will be in Shain Memorial Cemetery at Fisk.
