SIKESTON, Mo. — The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District projects during an electronic ballot held on Wednesday.
Contracts awarded include pavement improvements, bridge repairs, a bridge replacement and concrete pavement repairs.
Area contracts awarded included a $2,806,080 contract to Phillip Hardy, Inc., for bridge painting and rehabilitation on Route 84 in Dunklin County over the St. Francis River. The company was also awarded $2,317,542 contract for a bridge replacement in Oregon County as part of Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program.
Putz Construction, LLC, was awarded a $265,000 contract for concrete pavement repair on major highways throughout the Southeast District.
Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., was awarded a $17,459,459 contract for resurfacing Interstate 55 and a $3,685,526 contract for milling and resurfacing Route 62 in New Madrid County. Capital Paving & Construction, LLC, was awarded a $4,898,461 contract to resurface US 412 in Dunklin County.
