Two people are facing charges following an incident in Poplar Bluff last week.
According to the Poplar Bluff Police Department, shortly after midnight on Friday, officers responded to the area of Magnolia and Pine streets in reference to a child in the roadway with no supervision.
Jamie Hardesty, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested and charged with abuse and neglect and endangering the welfare of a child.
Officials say Jesse Schaeding, 35, of Poplar Bluff, was also charged, but remained on scene.
The incident has been reported to the Child Abuse hotline.
No additional information was available and no formal charges had been filed as of press time.
