The Poplar Bluff Stage Company's production of “Cheaper By the Dozen” kicks off Friday with a 7:30 p.m. show at the Rodgers Theater in downtown Poplar Bluff.
The play is based on the semi-autobiographical novel of the same name by Frank Bunker Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey. It was turned into a film in 1950 and a play in 1992.
Additional show times are at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 19; Friday, June 25; and Saturday, June 26. The production's final show is at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 27.
Tickets for each show are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under.
