A short business meeting was held with the reading of the secretary’s report and the treasurer reporting no activity. During old business, it was decided to continue making blocks for the club’s next quilt to have ready to donate to fire victims or others in need. In new business plans were made for the Oct. 9 meeting: Roll call - tell a spooky story. Devotional - Nancy Wujcik. Program - Glenda. We are to bring canned goods to donate as well as a dish for lunch.

The group then adjourned for lunch at Hayden’s BBQ with Glenda Phillips blessing the food. After lunch, the members toured the Tim Edington photographic exhibit at the Margaret Harwell Art Museum with Steve Whitworth welcoming us and giving us an overview.
