A fatal shooting Tuesday is being investigated by Butler County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies and investigators were on the scene as of 8:30 p.m., following a shooting three hours earlier, Sheriff Mark Dobbs said.
The residence was located in the 600 block of Butler County Road 544 in eastern Butler County
“The incident apparently stemmed from a family dispute,” Dobbs said. “All parties involved, including the shooter are being interviewed at this time by Butler County investigators.”
No additional information was released as of press time regarding the identity or age of any of the parties involved.
The investigation was continuing, Dobbs said.
