Bicyclist seriously injured in highway collision near Poplar Bluff

A serious accident occurred at 6:20 p.m. Friday on Highway B, two miles east of Poplar Bluff, resulting in significant injuries to a 57-year-old bicyclist.

The bicyclist, an adult male from Poplar Bluff, was struck by a westbound 2006 Dodge Caravan driven by a 26-year-old woman, also from Poplar Bluff.

Emergency Response and Medical Care

Following the collision, the injured bicyclist was transported by ground ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center for treatment.
