Southeast Missouri State University has announced its President’s List for undergraduate academic achievement during the spring 2021 semester. Several area students received honors.

Students named to the President’s List earned at least a 4.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale; completed at least 12 hours of standard graded credit; achieved no grade below an A and received no failing grades in enrolled; credit/no credit or pass/fail courses.

Southwest Baptist University has released its Spring 2021 honor roll lists. Three students from Poplar Bluff made honor roll for Spring 2021. Paige Bradley made the Trustees’ List. Grace Cam made the Honor’s List. Hannah Finley made the Trustee’s List.

To be listed on the semester’s honor roll, students must carry at least 12 hours of college work at Southwest Baptist University and earn at least a B (3.00 GPA), with no grade below C: Trustees’ List, 3.85-4.00; President’s List, 3.70-3.84; Deans’ List, 3.50-3.69; and Honor’s List, 3.00-3.49.

SBU is a private university in the Midwest integrating Christ-centered academic pursuits with comprehensive professional programs.

Central Methodist University recently announced the students included on the Spring 2021 Dean’s List. Those students include: Alexis McClure of Poplar Bluff and Timothy Ennis of Harviell.

Nearly 1,000 students across all campuses and online learning met the requirements for placement, including a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the semester.

CMU has evolved into a university that confers master’s, bachelor’s and associate’s degrees through programming on its main campus in Fayette, Missouri, and through extension sites and online.

Michael Wall of Poplar Bluff, an undergraduate student at Fontbonne University in St. Louis, was named to the Spring 2021 Dean’s List. Wall is majoring in applied mathematics.

Dean’s List honorees must earn a grade-point average of 3.7 or higher upon completion of the 2021 spring semester. More than 230 students appear on the Spring 2021 Dean’s List.

Kayli Lawrence of Bernie made the Dean’s List at Harding University. Lawrence is a senior communication sciences and disorders major.

To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

Harding University is a private Christian university located in Searcy, Arkansas.

Lawrence was also one of more than 700 students who received a diploma at Harding University’s Spring commencement ceremonies May 7-8.

Lawrence received a Bachelor of Arts in communication sciences and disorders.

Luke Voyles of Broseley has received a master of arts degree from The University of Alabama.

UA awarded some 5,860 degrees during its spring commencement ceremonies April 30-May 2.

The University of Alabama, part of The University of Alabama System, is the state’s flagship university.

Lillianne Rose Jones of Poplar Bluff was recently named to the Dean’s Honor Roll at the University of Mississippi.

In order to be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation during the semester.

The University of Mississippi is the state’s flagship university, with a main campus in Oxford.

Carissa Eckroth of Poplar Bluff, a student at the University of Evansville, earned Dean’s List Honors for the Spring 2021 semester. Eckroth is studying Archaeology at UE.

To merit the honor of being placed on the Dean’s List each semester, a student must carry a full academic load of 12 hours or more and earn a grade point average of 3.5 or above.

The University of Evansville is a private, liberal arts and sciences-based university located in Evansville, Indiana.

Poplar Bluff native Aaron Taylor made the spring 2021 Dean’s List at the University of North Georgia, for achieving at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.

Taylor additionally earned the University of North Georgia Corps of Cadets award.

The University of North Georgia is a University System of Georgia leadership institution and is The Military College of Georgia.
