The annual production of "The Sounds of Christmas" at the Palace of Praise starts Sunday.

The original production featuring music, dancing and elaborate sets is in its ninth year. The cast consists of church members and the script is written every year by Associate Pastor Randy West with a brand new set designed and constructed just for the script.

The performance is free, but one way to make it a special event is by purchasing a $12 dinner ticket for the performances Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday night. Dinner will start being served at 5 p.m., and each ticket reserves a seat for the performance. The menu includes; Ham, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, dinner roll and a drink.

For more information or to purchase tickets at the church office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Thursday or going to the link - https://www.palaceofpraise.org/sounds-of-christmas or by calling 785-4232.

Every year, church members take an afternoon and give close to 600 gifts to children in the local area who are in need. A church member said, "we have near 400 salvations and reach close to 5000 people through this dynamic ministry."
