Kristen M. Alexander of Poplar Bluff graduated Saturday, June 10, with a doctor of dental medicine (DMD) degree and a certificate in public health from A. T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH).
While at ATSU-MOSDOH, Dr. Alexander was a member of the American Student Dental Association, Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity, and the American Association of Public Health Dentists-Student Chapter. Prior to graduation Alexander was awarded the American Association of Orthodontists' Student Award demonstrating advanced interest and knowledge in the field of Orthodontics.
Dr. Alexander plans to work at Missouri Highlands Poplar Bluff Community Dental Clinic, in Poplar Bluff, after graduation.
Dr. Alexander attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, where she earned her baccalaureate degree in biology with an emphasis in biomedical sciences before enrolling at ATSU-MOSDOH. Alexander also graduated in 2008 from Poplar Bluff Senior High School. She is the daughter of Kerry Dale and Paulette Alexander of Poplar Bluff.
