The annual Maynard Alumni and Friends Reunion will be Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Maynard High School Cafeteria at 5 p.m. Maynard alumni and friends of Maynard are invited to attend.

Scholarship recipients (from 1991 - 2018) are invited to attend and support the association. Thanks to all the members for your membership, donations and support in making the Maynard Alumni and Friends Association a successful organization.

The reunion brings back many friends from various places far and near. All ages enjoy visiting with one another. Everyone has a great time. Many plan class reunions at this time. If your class desires to plan a reunion at the Maynard Alumni and Friends Reunion, a seating arrangement can be made for your class.

Membership dues remain $15. Membership includes a meal provided by the Beta Club. The meal for a guest attending will be $10 per person. Organizers encourage memberships and guest amounts be mailed to arrive by Aug. 31 so there is a more accurate count for food. Mail to: Maynard Alumni & Friends, 74 Campus Drive, Maynard, AR 72444.

Remember Maynard Pioneer Days occur during this time, beginning Thursday evening, Sept. 13 with school night; Friday evening chicken and dumplings, crafts, and music will be available.

Friday evening the baked goods and miscellaneous auction is fun as the bidders compete for the item. On Saturday, the Maynard Pioneer Parade begins at 10 a m - referred to as the largest parade in Northeast Arkansas. After the parade is entertainment, crafts, and visiting at the park.

Pioneer Days ends with the Maynard Alumni and Friends reunion at 5 p.m.
