Despite the summer heat, crowds gathered from Whiteley Park to the courthouse for the Daily American Republic Independence Day Parade. This year’s parade brought in approximately 80 entries, and voting for the best floats and vehicles is live on the DAR Facebook page through Thursday, July 11. Entries with the most likes will win a prize package.
