Glendol and Judy Garrett of Poplar Bluff, Mo., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Waynesville, N.C. with their children and their spouses. They are son, James and Mindy Garrett; daughter, Sheila and Dee Early; and grandchildren: Hailey and Kenzie Garrett. The children planned a week full of family fun.
The Garretts were married Nov. 25 1967 at First General Baptist church on North Main Street. They renewed their vows in the Catholic church.
Judy is a retired art teacher in the Poplar Bluff school district. Glendol is a retired Marine veteran, and Gun Exchange assistant manager. Judy is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
