Hailey Turner and Austin Skidemore are both from Zalma.

__H.S. sweethearts get engaged:__

Austin and Hailey met their junior year of high school after Hailey transferred to Austin’s school. He says: He was interested in her instantly.

It did not take long for them to start dating and they got engaged April 22, 2020, after their senior year.

__The big question:__

Austin took Hailey to their favorite spot, the Greenbrier boat dock in their hometown, and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

They say: Hailey is thankful for Austin’s mother, Tara Miller, for all that she does for them.

Austin says that he is grateful for Kevin and Katherine for letting him become part of their family.
