At 25-years-old, service technician Joshua Clover of Baldwin Ford-Lincoln-Toyota achieved his goal of becoming a Senior Master Technician by the age of 30. Clover is one of 254 technicians in the Memphis Region to hold this status.

"We're very proud of this young man," General Manager Bruce Hutson said. "It is extremely difficult to achieve Senior Master Technician status. Master tech is one thing, but senior is a whole different ball game."

Clover completed more than 50 days of training, 57 web courses averaging two hours each, more than 550 hours of training and holds the minimum of five years work experience at a Ford dealership.

Clover said he's heard, on good authority, that he is the third youngest person in the United States to earn Senior Master Tech status and added the average recipient is around age 40.

"This has been my goal since I graduated high school," Clover said. "This is as high as I can go in my field."

Clover said fellow Senior Master Technician Ben Hatton, who also works at the dealership, helped keep him focused during his journey.

"Ben's been key to helping me achieve this. I owe a lot to him," Clover said.

Service Director Misty Andrews said Clover is an asset to Baldwin Ford-Lincoln-Toyota.

"Having a Senior Master Tech is something I'm proud of. He's accomplished this since I've been in this position and it's been great to watch him grow," she said.
