Deputies responded at 4 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, to an alarm at a business in the 2600 block of Township Line road. They found one glass door broken and cash stolen.

Serena S. Barnes, 51, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:37 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, in Stoddard County on a Butler County felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance and on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and felony possession of methamphetamine drug paraphernalia. She was booked at the Stoddard County jail on a 24-hour hold.

A 27-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9:18 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, on Highway M, two miles west of Poplar Bluff.
According to the report, Krystal M. Barton, 27, of Malden was operating a 2008 GMC Acadia southbound when it failed to yield to a westbound 2020 Chevrolet 3500 operated by Jacob A. Rich, 22, of Poplar Bluff.
Barton was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
