Courtney Stewart, 34, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:35 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at Walmart Supercenter after she allegedly took merchandise to the front desk for a fraudulent return and left the store without paying for other items. Stewart was booked on charges of first degree burglary, stealing, and possession of burglary tools and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers were dispatched at 10:23 a.m. Sunday, June 26, to the 200 block of N. 8th Street for a report of someone screaming for help. A man complained he had been assaulted by an acquaintance, but he refused to press charges.

Terry Johnson, 52, of Poplar Bluff and Daona Parker, 49, of Poplar Bluff were arrested Sunday, June 26, during a traffic stop on at the intersection of Spring and 13th streets. Johnson was booked on suspicion of possession of amphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, while Parker was booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm. Both were lodged in the Butler County jail.

According to the report, Nicholas W. Hines, 19, of Neelyville was operating a 1995 GMC 2500 northbound that slowed to make a turn and was struck in the rear by a northbound 2018 Ford Explorer operated by Sabrina G. Parks, 19, of Corning, Ark.
Parks was taken by EMS to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Williams was taken by EMS to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A 22-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, on the Highway 34 northbound ramp to U.S. Highway 67 at Silva.
According to the report, Letraca D. Skaggs, 22, of Silva was operating a 2006 Chevrolet Impala northbound when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail, damaging 40 feet of the rail.
Skaggs was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A 22-year-old man sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, June 23, on Highway 51 at Fagus.
According to the report, Dylan T. Frazier, 22, of Birch Tree was operating a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado northbound when it ran off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole.
Frazier was transported by Medic One to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
At 2:10 a.m., Frazier was arrested in Butler County on suspicion of DWI and failure to drive on the right half of the road. He was released for medical attention.

According to the report, James T. Cozart, 21, of Corning, Ark. was operating a 1998 Ford Ranger northbound when it over corrected, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Cozart and a passenger, Levi Arnold, 19, of Success, Ark. both were transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A passenger in Turner‘s vehicle, Gabriel A. Turner, 18, of Naylor was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
