Kayla Rodriguez, 19, of Van Buren reported at 8:20 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, she struck a gray Dodge Charger at the intersection of PP Highway and North Westwood Boulevard. The driver of the Dodge Charger asked her not to call the police and left the scene.

Jennifer Kanell reported at 11:08 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, her Missouri EBT card was used to make unauthorized purchases online.

A blue 2011 Chevrolet Cruze was impounded and towed at 1:09 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, from a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Missouri Avenue after it was determined the vehicle was not registered and was not insured. The driver was released at the scene and traffic citations were mailed to his home address.

Torrey Stevenson reported at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, someone in a black Ford Focus shot at his vehicle in the 1100 block of North Main Street several hours earlier. Stevenson later found what appeared to be a bullet hole in the license plate on the front of his vehicle. Stevenson could not provide a possible suspect in the shooting.

Florence Moran reported at 3:38 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, a white passenger vehicle ran over her foot on Sept. 12. Moran she was walking in the 400 block of West Pine Street, and a white passenger vehicle backed out of a parking lot and ran over her foot. Moran sought medical treatment and said she suffered a minor fracture to a bone in her foot.

A juvenile reported at 4:38 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, she was bitten by a dog while she walked in the 1000 block of Nooney Street. The juvenile’s mother dressed the wound and refused EMS.

Jaquaveous Clark, 26, of Kennett was arrested at 2:22 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, in the 1900 block of South Broadway. Clark was booked on charges of third-degree kidnapping, fourth-degree assault and second-degree property damage. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 5:06 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, to a residence in the 600 block of Apple Street for a domestic disturbance. Two adult females (siblings) said an argument escalated to a fight. No injury was reported and no charges were filed.
