Joshua Forbes, 31, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, during a traffic stop on North Fifth Street. Forbes was booked on a United States Marshals Service warrant for possession of amphetamine and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Tanya Hillis, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:29 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, during a traffic stop on Oak Grove Road. Hillis was booked in on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense. Hillis was unable to post bond but she was released on her own recognizance.

An officer was bitten by a dog at 11:44 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at a residence in the 500 block of North Avondale. The dog was impounded for a rabies observation.

Brett Russell reported at 3:24 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, a sander was stolen from his residence in the 2600 block of Linda Lane.

April Saling reported at 6:22 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, a license plate was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at Walmart Neighborhood Market at 3001 Oak Grove Road.

Officers responded at 1:14 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 1200 block of Winnie Street. The suspect left the scene before the police were called and the victim was taken to stay with a family member for the night.
