Charles Coker, 47, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 6:27 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at a residence in the 1600 block of Cross Street. Coker was booked on a charge of violation of a protection order and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Rachel Carter, 29, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 4:31 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Carter was booked on a charge of stealing and released on criminal summons.

Patricia Cody reported at 7:56 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, her juvenile daughter stabbed her with a pen and threatened her with a machete during an argument at their residence in the 800 block of Hart Street. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Stoddard County Juvenile Detention Center.

Joseph Jones, 61, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:48 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at a residence in the 700 block of Poplar Street. Jones was booked on a charge of trespassing, and Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on trespassing, resisting arrest, and assault on a law enforcement officer. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.
