Cole Cooper reported at 10:27 a.m. Friday, Nov. 24, a rifle and a laptop computer were stolen from his truck while it was parked at his residence in the 1600 block of Big Bend Road.

Robin MacArthur reported at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, her car was struck by a black pickup truck while she was stopped in traffic on North Westwood Boulevard. When she pulled off the road the black pickup left the scene.

The National Instant Background Check System (NICS) reported at 1:21 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, a firearm transfer was denied at Bluff Tactical at 2783 Tucker Road, after it was determined that the purchaser was previously convicted of a felony offense.

Stephanie Lock reported at 3:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, her boyfriend struck her in the face during an argument at their residence in the 900 block of Oakwood.

Officers responded at 10:14 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, to a residence in the 2000 block of Tennessee Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. No criminal charges were filed.

Charles Wooten, 36, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:52 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, during a traffic stop on Davis Street. Wooten was booked on a Jefferson County warrant for a traffic offense and held at the Butler County jail.

Felicia Gilmore reported at 11:08 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, her ex-boyfriend harassed her at Westwood Billiards in violation of a protection order.

Officers responded at 11:53 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, to a residence in the 200 block of South Ninth Street for a domestic disturbance. No injury was reported and neither party pressed charges.

Luis Rivera, 29, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 12:28 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, during a traffic stop on Big Bend Road. Rivera was booked on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on DWI and possession of marijuana. He was released on bond.

An employee at Huck’s at 703 N. Westwood Blvd. reported at 12:34 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, a white male stole merchandise from the store.

Paul Ordway, 38, of Bloomfield was arrested at 2:02 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, after he ran from a traffic stop on Black River Industrial Park Road. Ordway was booked on charges of possession of amphetamine and resisting arrest and held at the Butler County jail.

A black 2010 Toyota sport utility vehicle was found abandoned in the roadway at 6:04 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, in the 500 block of North G Street. Efforts to contact the owner failed, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

A firearm found in the roadway on North Westwood Boulevard was turned in to the police department at 10:27 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25. The item was placed into evidence for release to its owner.

Saturday, Nov. 25, at 5:36 p.m. An employee at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. reported a white female stole merchandise and left the store in a silver passenger vehicle. The suspect was identified from surveillance video footage and the matter was referred to the Butler County prosecutor.

Officers responded at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, to a residence in the 2000 block of Kentucky Avenue for a drug overdose. The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Officers responded at 9:22 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, to a disturbance in the 1900 block of Iowa Street. The involved parties separated and no charges were filed.

Officers responded at 10:24 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, to Buffalo Wild Wings at 1465 N. Westwood Blvd. for a drug overdose. EMS administered Narcan, the victim recovered and refused further medical treatment.

Joselyn Harris reported at 10:54 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, an adult female acquaintance assaulted her on the parking lot at the Office Bar and Grill at 420 Maple St. The suspect left the scene before the police were called.

Leslie Goldsmith, 44, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:56 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, during a traffic stop on Thomas Street. Goldsmith was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on assault and held at the Butler County jail.

Kendrick Brown, 22, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:22 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, during a traffic stop on West Harper Street. Brown was booked on traffic offenses and resisting arrest and released on criminal summons.

Kathleen Sansoucie, 35, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 3:02 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, at Dollar General Store at 1371 N. Westwood Blvd. Sansoucie was booked on a charge of stealing and held at the Butler County jail.

Three adult males were detained at 3:37 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, after stealing property from Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. The suspects were identified and released pending review by the Butler County prosecutor.

Sharon Barton reported at 4:02 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, she sent money to a person she met on social media, and later realized it was a scam.

Chad Stanford reported at 5:01 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, his girlfriend assaulted him at their residence in the 900 block of Park Street.

Tiffanie Reece reported at 5:48 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, her ex-boyfriend was harassing her in violation of a protection order.

Roosevelt Fisher, 32, of Poplar Bluff and Eather Simpson, 38, of Poplar Bluff were arrested at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, at their residence in the 600 block of Selma Street. They were booked on charges of burglary and stealing and they were held at the Butler County jail. The arrests stemmed from the investigation of a theft at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd.

Tommy Green, 43, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:19 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, on Stella Street. Green was booked on a Butler County warrant for assault, and a Probation and Parole warrant for parole violation. He was held at the Butler County jail.

A blue 2002 Mitsubishi passenger vehicle was towed from a traffic stop at 10:20 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, on Thomas Street after it was determined the vehicle was not properly registered and was not insured. Driver Barry Tucker, 61, of Poplar Bluff was issued traffic tickets and released at the scene.

Emily Bates reported at 10:48 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, she was sitting in a car on the parking lot at Break Time at 2940 N. Westwood Blvd, and an adult male opened the driver side door. The male subject told Bates her boyfriend asked him to get items out of the driver side door, and he stole a pack of cigarettes and a tobacco grinder. The male then left in a white sport utility vehicle.

A stolen vehicle was found parked at 11:18 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, in the 300 block of Short Fifth Street. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Officers responded at 12:23 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 2600 block of Crestwood Drive. The suspect left the scene before the police were called, and the remaining party did not want to press charges.

Quinton Bruce, 35, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 12:35 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, during a traffic stop on Coolidge Street. Bruce was booked on a charge of violation of an order of protection and held at the Butler County jail.
