An employee at Poplar Bluff Tobacco reported at 12:14 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, the exterior AC unit for their building at 200 S. Westwood Blvd. had been stolen.

Officers responded at 1:24 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, to a residence in the 700 block of North Seventh Street for a report of children being kicked out of their residence by a guardian. A Missouri Children’s Division caseworker responded to the scene and the children were temporarily placed with another adult.

Charles Sneed, 40, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 3:29 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the Butler County Courthouse. Sneed was booked on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on fraudulent use of a credit device and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Michael Kelly reported at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, the title to his truck was taken from his camper while it was parked at Wiseman Beach.

Diane Widding, 27, of Doniphan was arrested at 3:58 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Widding was booked on a charge of stealing and released pending review by the prosecutor.

Riana Johnson reported at 8:11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, someone struck the back door of her residence in the 300 block of North G Street and fled the scene.

Edward Moore, 57, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, during a traffic stop on Valley Plaza parking lot. Moore was booked on Butler County warrants for invasion of privacy and failure to appear on peace disturbance. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

A juvenile male was arrested at 10:14 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at a residence in the 800 block of Kinzer Street. The juvenile was booked on a Juvenile Office warrant for burglary and lodged in the Stoddard County Juvenile Detention Center.

Miguel Cooper, 22, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 12:17 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, at a residence in the 400 block of Karen Drive. Cooper was booked on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for stealing and property damage and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Daniel Burks, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 12:27 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, in the 1900 block of Arkansas Street. Burks was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for a traffic offense and lodged in the Butler County jail.

A black 2000 Chevrolet Trailblazer was towed from a traffic stop at 2:27 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, on North Westwood Boulevard after it was determined the vehicle was not properly registered and was not insured. Driver Ricky Wallace, 51, of Poplar Bluff was issued traffic tickets and released at the scene.

Jennifer L. Dea, 49, of Ellington was arrested at 10:07 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, in Reynolds County on suspicion of misdemeanor DWI and failure to drive on the right side of the road. She was released.
