An employee at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet reported at 12:32 p.m., Nov. 16 a white female stole merchandise from the store. She was confronted on the parking lot and an employee recovered the stolen merchandise. The suspect left before the police department was called.

An Enterprise rental car which was reported stolen in Idaho at 1:59 p.m., Nov. 16 was returned to Enterprise Rental at 1115 Hershel Bess Blvd.

An adult female reported on at 2:53 p.m., Nov. 16 she was taken to a residence in Butler County and assaulted by an ex-boyfriend.

A juvenile reported at 4:18 p.m., Nov. 16 a they were bitten by a dog in the 2300 block of Kentucky Avenue. The dog was seized by an animal control officer for a 10-day rabies observation.

An employee at 10 Box at 1301 Shelby Rd. reported at 4:40 p.m., Nov. 16 a two young children were left unattended for half an hour in a car parked on their lot. At the officer’s request the owner was paged on the store intercom system and the parent returned to the vehicle.

Officers responded at 7:50 p.m., Nov. 16 to the intersection of West Pine Streey at North Broadway for a motor vehicle accident. A witness reported an 18-wheeler struck a utility pole and left the scene. The trucking company contacted the driver and had him return to the scene to complete the report.

Brittany Patton reported at 7:08 a.m., Nov. 17 her car was stolen from the driveway of her residence in the 1600 block of Coolidge Street.

Wade Jaco reported on at 8:27 a.m., Nov. 17 he found his stolen license plate on a truck parked at David’s Extreme Clean Auto Sales at 1890 N. Westwood Blvd. The plate was returned to Jaco at the scene.
