William Moore reported at 2:40 a.m. Friday, May 3, property damage to his vehicle while it was parked in the 800 block of Poplar Street. Moore advised the suspect knocked out one of his vehicle windows with a baseball bat. The case is under investigation.

An employee at Poplar Bluff High School reported at 7:25 a.m. Friday, May 3, a student had a THC vape in their possession. The vape was seized and destroyed. The case has been referred to the Juvenile Office.

Karen Bess, 55, of Dexter was arrested at 10:06 p.m. Friday, May 3, during a stealing investigation at the Walmart Supercenter. Bess was booked on the charge of stealing and released.
