Michael Derrick, 41, Poplar Bluff was arrested Monday, May 20, on an active warrant through the city of Poplar Bluff and was in possession of a controlled substance. Also located on Derrick’s person were two small bags containing a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine. Derrick was processed and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers were dispatched Monday, May 20, to the 700 block of South Drive in reference to a medical assist. A female living at the residence was trying to get another female court ordered. The female in question willingly left with EMS for an evaluation.

Robert Foster, 49, Poplar Bluff was taken into custody Monday, May 20, for trespassing at Walmart. He was processed and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers were dispatched Monday, May 20, to Poplar Bluff Mini Storage in reference to stealing. Contact was made with the suspects and an investigation began. During the investigation it was discovered Leslie Goldsmith, 44, Poplar Bluff was in possession of a controlled substance. Goldsmith was processed and lodged in the Butler County jail.
