The Poplar Bluff Junior High School school resource office received a report at 2:57 p.m. Thursday, May 18, that a juvenile student was thrown to the ground and struck repeatedly in the head until an adult intervened.

Kenny Koch, 41, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:57 a.m. Friday, May 19, at his residence in the 1700 block of West Maud Street. Koch was booked on a probation/parole warrant for parole violation with no bond, and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

A drug pipe was found at 10:34 a.m. Friday, May 19, in the yard at a residence in the 2200 block of Autumn Road. The pipe was destroyed and discarded.

Misty Wallace, 40, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 19, at her residence in the 500 block of Oak Street. Wallace was booked on a Butler County warrant for possession of a controlled substance with a $500 bond, and a Probation/Parole warrant for parole violation with no bond. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Harlen Buhler reported at 12:20 p.m. Friday, May 19, an SMTS bus struck his truck while it was parked on the lot at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. An employee at SMTS provided driver and insurance information for the accident report.

Carlee Eifert, 28, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 19, during a traffic stop on East Pine Street. Eifert was booked on a St. Francois County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense with a $5,000 bond. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Ronnie Mellon, 53, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 3:14 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Walmart Supercenter. Mellon was booked on a charge of stealing, and he was released pending review by the Butler County prosecutor.

Madeline Keith reported at 5:28 p.m. Friday, May 19, her car was struck by a white Cadillac passenger vehicle while she was driving on West Pine Street. The white Cadillac left the scene.

Aleisha Keirns, 21, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 6:56 p.m. Friday, May 19, in the 500 block of South E Street. Keirns was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on shoplifting with a $500 bond. She was not able to post bond and was released on her own recognizance.

An employee at Murphy’s Express at 303 S. Westwood Blvd. reported at 8:34 p.m. Friday, May 19, a black male patron called her a profanity and punched her after she told him she couldn’t sell alcohol to him without ID. The suspect left the scene before the police were notified.

A vehicle was impounded and towed at 2:08 a.m. Friday, May 19, from a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Second Street after it was determined the driver had no license and no proof of insurance. Driver Patrick Oxley, 34, of Campbell was issued traffic tickets and he was released at the scene.
