Jalisa Bryant reported at 1:25 p.m. Monday, May 15, that a male houseguest stole a laptop from her residence in the 500 block of North Sixth Street.

Haley Stover reported at 3:02 p.m. Monday, May 15, that her car was stolen from the parking lot at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at 3100 Oak Grove Road.
The vehicle was recovered at 11:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, after it was involved in a motor vehicle accident on the parking lot at Huck’s at 703 N. Westwood Blvd.
Alisha Keirns, 21, of Poplar Bluff was taken into custody at the scene. Keirns was booked in on charges of stealing a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident, and she was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, May 15, to a residence in the 1700 block of Wilson Street for a report that a female was shouting for help. Upon their arrival, the officers heard the female screaming inside but could not get her to open the door. They forced entry to the residence and found the adult female alone in the residence. The female denied calling for help and refused medical attention.
