Officers responded at 7:53 a.m. Saturday, May 11, to Poplar Bluff Mini Storage in reference to a warrant arrest. Leslie Goldsmith, 44, of Poplar Bluff was arrested on outstanding warrants. Goldsmith was lodged at the Butler County jail and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Officers were dispatched at 10:48 a.m. Saturday, May 11, to the 1100 block of Maud Street in reference to stealing. Carlos Blackmon, 47, of Poplar Bluff was arrested and charged with felony stealing. The stolen items were returned to their owner.

Officers responded at 11:13 a.m. Saturday, May 11, to the 1500 block of South Broadway in reference to an assault. Neither party wished to pursue charges. Both were advised of the 12-hour domestic violence statute before separating.

Officers took a report at 11:57 a.m Saturday, May 11, via phone of fraud. The reporting party advised her bank account had fraudulent charges from various business in Poplar Bluff. The investigation is ongoing.

Officers located a vehicle at 1:41 p.m. Saturday, May 11, that was involved in a stealing case in the 2000 block of Alice Street. Officers made contact with the driver, Marvin Adams, 44 of Poplar Bluff. Adams was arrested on outstanding warrants and lodged at the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, May 11, to Sportsmans Park in reference to a juvenile issue. At the request of the mother, officers escorted the mother and her juvenile daughter to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. A short time later, officers responded back to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in reference to the juvenile assaulting two nurses. The juvenile was admitted into the hospital for treatment. Charges for assault will be forwarded to the Butler County Juvenile Office.

Officers responded at 6:04 p.m. Saturday, May 11, to 1515 Thomas Street in reference to an assault. Adam Hartke, 24, of Poplar Bluff was arrested and charged with third degree domestic assault. Hartke was lodged at the Butler County jail.

Officers were dispatched at 8:54 p.m. Saturday, May 11, to the 600 block of North Main Street in reference to a domestic dispute. No charges were filed. The parties separated for the evening after being advised of the 12-hour domestic violence statue.
