Quinton Bruce, 34, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:46 a.m. Monday, March 13, at his residence in the 2300 block of Thomas Street. Bruce was booked in on a charge of violation of an order of protection and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Angela Treat reported at 9:29 a.m. Monday, March 13, her car was struck while she was stopped in the turn lane in the 2500 block of South Westwood Boulevard, and the other vehicle left the scene.

Donna Claybourne reported at 3:49 p.m. Monday, March 13, her car was struck while she was on West Maud Street, and the other vehicle left the scene.

Megan Cates, 37, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:23 p.m. Monday, March 13, during a traffic stop in the 800 block of Kinzer Street. Cates was booked in on charges of possession of amphetamine and no proof of insurance, Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for property damage and shoplifting with a $265.90 bond, and a Wright County, Missouri, warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense with a $250 cash bond. Cates was lodged in the Butler County jail.

A juvenile male was arrested at 7:38 p.m. Monday, March 13, a after he tried to steal a bottle of liquor at Beehive Liquor at 208 S. Westwood Blvd. The suspect was later released to the juvenile office.

Bradley Russell, 42, and Kenneth Betz, 47, both of Poplar Bluff, were arrested at 1:10 a.m. Monday, March 13, during a traffic stop on Valley Street. Russell was booked in on charges of possession of a controlled substance, no insurance and driving without a license, and he was lodged in the Butler County jail. Betz was booked in on charges of possession of amphetamine, unlawful possession of a firearm; Butler County warrants for failure to appear on charges of possession of stolen property with a $5,000 cash only bond, and probation violation with a $10,000 cash only bond; and a Dunklin County warrant for failure to appear on no seat belt with $10 cash only bond. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.
