Fredrick Meyer, 34, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9, on South Broadway and booked on a Probation and Parole warrant for a parole violation (no bond). Meyer was also booked on the charges of possession of an illegal weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia and lodged in the Butler County jail.

A red 1992 Chevrolet Prizm was towed at 4:52 a.m. Saturday, March 9, during an accident investigation after it was determined the vehicle was not insured. Derek Darlington, 52, of Poplar Bluff was issued a traffic ticket and released at the scene.

Corey Holbek, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:50 a.m. Saturday, March 9, in the 900 block of Cole Avenue and booked on Butler County warrants for failure to appear on burglary and stealing (bond $32,500). Holbeck was also booked on Poplar Bluff warrants for health and safety violations (bond $3,000). The Butler County Sheriff’s Department took custody of Holbeck.
