At 7:08 a.m. on Thursday, June 8, Christopher Joplin reported the ignition of his car was damaged while it was parked at a residence in the 2600 block of Holly Hills.

Rosalind Marks reported at 7 a.m. Thursday, June 8, a juvenile female threatened her granddaughter at their house in the 300 block of McKinley Street. The suspect left the scene before the police were called. This matter was referred to the juvenile office.

Danny Hillis reported at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 8, a box of tools stolen from his residence in the 600 block of Victor Street.

Elizabeth Elliott reported at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, June 8, her car was stolen from her residence in the 300 block of Roxie Drive. The car was later found abandoned on Illinois Street.

Debra Woods reported at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 8, someone damaged the steering column of her car while it was parked at her residence in the 2100 block of Cross Street overnight.

Robert Jackosn reported at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 8, a neighbor’s dog attacked his own dog while they walked in the 800 block of Ash Street.

Jordan Cantoni reported at 4:51 p.m. Thursday, June 8, an acquaintance trespassed on his property in the 800 block of Kendall Street and made a veiled threat against Cantoni and his family. Criminal summons for trespassing and peace disturbance were mailed to the suspect’s last known address.

Joshua Crouch, 32, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 8:53 p.m. Thursday, June 8, during a traffic stop on East Pine Street. Crouch was booked in on a probation/parole warrant for parole violation, with no bond, and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

A gold 2000 Ford SUV was found abandoned in the center turn lane of South Westwood Boulevard at 9:33 p.m. on Thursday, June 8. Efforts to contact the registered owner failed and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

Jesse Sutton, 40, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 12:34 a.m. Friday, June 9, during the investigation of an assault in the 1700 block of Wilson Street. Sutton was booked in on a charge of resisting arrest, and he was released pending further investigation.
