Nicole Price reported at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, someone stole a box with tattoo equipment from her vehicle while it was parked at Savage Ink Tattoo Shop at 1934 South Broadway.

Joseph Nichols, 40, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:38 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, at his residence in the 800 block of Davis Street. Nichols was booked in on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses, $1,500 bond. Nichols was unable to post bond, and he was released on his own recognizance.

An employee at Save-A-Lot at 451 Hwy 53 reported at 9:54 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, a black male stole a soda from the store. The theft was captured on surveillance video.

Officers responded at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 600 block of North Selma Street. No injury was reported, and no charges were filed.

Thaddeus Foreman, 32, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, at a residence in the 700 block of Cynthia Street. Foreman was booked in on charges of third degree assault, resisting arrest and stealing, and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

James Bean reported at 2:01 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, he was assaulted by an adult male acquaintance at his apartment at 505 Oak St. The suspect left the scene before the police were called.

Hosea Robinson, 37, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:54 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, a residence in the 500 block of North C Street. Robinson was booked in on a Dunklin County warrant for probation violation, no bond, and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.
