Officers were dispatched Tuesday, June 25, to Roxie Road and Maud Street in reference to stealing. Contact was made with the victim, who stated a lock to a construction trailer was cut. Several tools were taken from the site. At this time, no suspects have been identified.

Officers were dispatched Tuesday, June 25, to J.D.’s quick stop in reference to stealing. It was advised a Coke machine was missing from outside the business. The employees at J.D.’s stated the machine had been missing for a while and they did not know what happened to it. The Coke machine was owned by Coca-Cola.

Officers were dispatched Tuesday, June 25, to the 200 block of Hampton Court in reference to stealing. Contact was made with the victim who stated they parked their vehicle in the driveway of their residence. When they later looked outside, they found their vehicle missing. The keys to the vehicle were placed in the bedroom. Contact was made with a juvenile and the vehicle was later located. The report will be sent to the Butler County juvenile office for review.

Courtland Pentelton, 31, Poplar Bluff was taken into custody Tuesday, June 25, for third-degree domestic assault and resisting arrest. Pentelton fled on foot from officers upon initial contact. After a short foot pursuit, Pentelton was taken into custody. Pentelton was processed and lodged in the Butler County jail.

William King, 42, Poplar Bluff and Danny Williams, 49, Poplar Bluff were both taken into custody Tuesday, June 25, for second-degree burglary and stealing wire. Officers were dispatched to the area of Fifth and Pine streets in reference to stealing. According to the report, King and Williams were captured on video stealing items. King was allegedly located with some items and was taken into custody. Williams was located a short time later and taken into custody as well. Both were processed and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers were dispatched Tuesday, June 25, to the 2900 block of North Westwood Boulevard in reference to stealing. Contact was made with the victim, who stated their moped was stolen from their residence. Upon reviewing video footage from local businesses, two suspects were caught stealing the moped. The investigation is ongoing.

Megan Haag, 30, Poplar Bluff was taken into custody Tuesday, June 25, for property damage, affray and peace disturbance after officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Lester Street. According to the report, Haag and Stephanie Crider, 46, Poplar Bluff were involved in a fight. After the fight, Haag threw a ceramic cup and struck Crider’s vehicle, causing damage. Haag was processed and lodged in the Butler County jail. Crider was issued a summons for affray.

Officers were dispatched Tuesday, June 25, to C&F Salvage in reference to property damage. Contact was made with the owner, who stated the front door to the business was broken. Nothing was missing at this time.

Officers assisted the Butler County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, June 25, in a shots fired call that occurred in Butler County. A vehicle involved in the incident was located at Holiday Inn. Officers secured the vehicle until deputies could arrive.

Officers responded Tuesday, June 25, to the 1900 block of Kentucky Street in reference to a burglary. Contact was made with the homeowner, who stated a male and female broke into the residence and entered unlawfully. The victim stated the suspects were staying in the area, however, did not know who they were. The subjects were captured on video.
