Officer responded Friday, July 12, to 1300 block of Ginger Street in reference to a fight. Officers made contact with a subject who was under the influence of drugs and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Officers responded Friday, July 12, to a motor vehicle accident on the Fifth Street overpass. The driver was transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, where he was later transferred to Memphis, Tennessee, for treatment. During the investigation, it was discovered the driver was possibly intoxicated.

Giovanni Lane, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested Friday, July 12, for a Ripley County warrant with no bond. Lane was lodged in the Butler County jail.
