Rickey Tropf, 42, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:44 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at a residence in the 900 block of Mary Street. Tropf was booked in on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

An employee at Empire Comfort Systems at 2450 South 11th Street reported at 8:24 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, several propane tanks were stolen from the property.

Tyler Cannon, 32, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:52 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at his residence in the 1400 block of Tremont Street. Cannon was booked in on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on stealing ($500 bond) and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

David Burgess, 52, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:51 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, during a traffic stop on Magnolia Street. Burgess was booked in on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on code violations ($1,500 bond) and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

A juvenile male was arrested at 9:52 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at Walmart Supercenter after he was detained for shoplifting and possession of a THC vaping device. The juvenile suspect was released to a parent at the police station.

Alan Pinney, 23, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:50 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Pinney was booked in on a charge of property damage and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Natalie Stonecipher, 32, of Poplar Bluff and William Gaines, 36, of Parma were at 12:24 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, arrested during a traffic stop on Shelby Road.
Stonecipher was booked in on a Probation/Parole warrant for parole violation (no bond), Dunklin County warrants for failure to appear on passing bad checks ($2,000 cash-only bond), Stoddard County warrants for failure to appear on passing bad checks ($10,500 cash-only bond), a Butler County warrant for probation violation ($20,000 cash-only bond), and a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on possession of marijuana ($50 bond); and additional charges of distribution of amphetamine, possession of amphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, resisting/interfering with an arrest. Stonecipher was lodged in the Butler County jail.
Gaines was booked in on charges of possession of amphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Asia Diggs reported at 12:25 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, a family member broke the rear window of her car while it was parked in the 1000 block of Cole Avenue. Efforts to contact the suspect failed and a criminal summons for property damage was mailed to their last known address.
