Butler County Sheriff
Brad Lee Hillis, 33, of the 300 block of County Road 527, reported at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 30, that a neighbor's dog attacked his turkeys.
According to the report, the turkeys were in their pens when the dog, owned by Jessica Constantino, 31, attacked them, pulling out feathers and causing bleeding. Hillis used a .22 caliber handgun and shot the dog in his pen.

Valerie Vadalia Ivy, 42, of the 100 block of Majestic Lane reported at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, vandalism at her residence.
According to the report, when she went outside that several eggs had been thrown at her house. She reported that her husband had heard noises outside the night before around 9 p.m. but was unable to see anything. She said a friend, who do not live in the same neighborhood, also had eggs thrown at their house on the same night.

Ronald Anthony Townsend, 59, of the 1400 block of Roosevelt Street reported at 8:02 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, that license plates were missing form his vehicle.
According to the report, the screws holding both the front and back plates were laying on the ground near his vehicle.

A 59-year-old Sikeston man received minor injury in a two vehicle crash at 2:50 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, on route Z about three miles north of Morehouse.
According to the report, Stewart K. Gordon was in a 2011 Ford Fusion, operated by Tonya R. Stewart, 53, of Sikeston heading southbound when the vehicle swerved into the path of a 1996 International Tractor operated by Marcus A. McCauley, 31, of Sikeston.
Gordan was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston for minor injuries.
