Officers were dispatched on Tuesday, Feb. 20, to the Black River Coliseum at301 S. Fifth St. in reference to a subject making entry through the kitchen. Contact was made with the subject, who was removed from the property. A trespass affidavit was completed.

Officers were dispatched on Tuesday, Feb. 20, to the 800 block of Main Street in reference to a burglary. The reporting party stated the residence is for sale and on that day’s date they located a broken window. Officers cleared the residence and did not locate anyone.

A subject reported on Tuesday, Feb. 20, that they lost their wallet and then discovered their bank card was used fraudulently. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers were dispatched on Tuesday, Feb. 20, to the 700 block of Davis Street in reference to a fight. An investigation was conducted and Joshua Jones, 35, of Poplar Bluff was taken into custody and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers were dispatched on Tuesday, Feb. 20, to the 800 block of Victor Street in reference to lost or stolen property. The victim reported leaving their wallet in the rear seat of a cab.

A traffic stop was made on Tuesday, Feb. 20, on a Jeep Cherokee due to no registration. During the stop it was discovered the vehicle was not covered under an insurance policy. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Kimberly Counts, no age or town given, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 20, on a Dunklin County warrant. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Kaylee Edwards, 21, of Poplar Bluff was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at McDonald’s, located at 550 Hwy 53. Officers responded to McDonald’s in reference to an assault. Contact was made with an employee, who stated a customer came into the business and was unhappy with their order. The suspect began yelling and cursing, then threw a soda at an employee. The suspect left prior to officers’ arrival. Officers were dispatched again due to the suspect returning to the business and took Edwards into custody.

A woman reported a missing juvenile on Tuesday, Feb. 20. The reporting party stated the child runs away often, and she has decided to start reporting it. A report was made and the child was entered as missing.
