Nigeria Hughes, 21, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 9:29 a.m. Feb. 15, at her residence in the 800 block of Apple Street. Hughes was booked in on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a charge of affray, and she was released on bond.

Jesse Wessel reported at 11:19 a.m. Feb. 15, his ex-girlfriend and her father blocked his vehicle in on the courthouse parking lot and threatened him.

Employee at Ulta Beauty reported at 12:21 p.m. Feb. 15, that on Feb. 9, a female suspect selected several items of store merchandise, concealed them on her person, and left the store without paying for them. The theft was captured on surveillance video.

Angelica Deaton, 37, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 3:32 p.m. Feb. 15, at Walmart Supercenter. Deaton was booked in on charges of stealing, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deaton was lodged in the Butler County jail.

A juvenile was arrested at 5:04 p.m. Feb 15, in the 600 block of Kinzer Street. The juvenile was booked in on charges of stealing, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of a firearm. The juvenile was released to an adult at the direction of the Butler County juvenile office.

Janice Brooks reported on Feb. 15 her car was struck while it was parked on the lot at Southeast Medical at 2351 Kanell Blvd.

A silver Pontiac passenger vehicle was impounded and towed at 9:23 p.m. Feb. 15, a from the scene of a traffic stop on Valley Street after it was determined the driver had no proof of insurance. The driver was released at the scene.
