Burley Weldon Turner, 87, of Neelyville reported at 11:51 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, that two days prior somebody damaged the door to his shop and some of the equipment inside.

Donald R. Ainley, 66, of the 2300 block of Willow Brook Lane reported at 11:03 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, that on Dec. 12 he received a letter regarding an unemployment claim that he didn’t file and believes his information was stolen.

Larronten Lashun Carter, 19, of the 900 block of Gardner was booked in the Butler County jail Wednesday, Dec. 23, on suspicion of first-degree robbery and on a warrant for first-degree robbery.

Kristen Jean Montgomery, 32, of the 900 block of County Road 309 was booked in the Butler County jail Wednesday, Dec. 23, on a warrant for stealing leased or rented property.

Clayton Darrell Ross, 36, of the 300 block of C was booked in the Butler County jail Wednesday, Dec. 23, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and trespassing.

Keith Michael Taylor, 30, of the 1200 block of Delano was booked in the Butler County jail Wednesday, Dec. 23, on suspicion of resisting arrest, stealing a motor vehicle/watercraft/aircraft and parole violation.

Police

Employees at Ricks 66 in the 700 block of Highway 53 reported at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, that two black females entered the store and left without paying for merchandise about 10 minutes earlier.

Ben Miller, an employee at Palace of Praise in the 1400 block of Herschell Blvd., reported at 7:43 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, that when he arrived at the church there was somebody in his vehicle.

Miller reported he recognized the man as Bruce Adam Lacy, 32, of the 400 block of North Main Street and let him go, but wanted to make the police department aware. He also reported that the dash of his truck was damaged as though somebody was trying to get the radio out.

Lacy was arrested at 67 and Sunset on a warrant for non-support. He was booked in the Butler County jail.

Patrol

A 31-year-old Dexter woman sustained moderate injuries from a one-vehicle crash at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, on Highway AD, about two miles north of Dexter.

According to the report, Sammie A. Dobbs, 30, of Dexter was operating a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu northbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert.

Occupant Tahneen N. Dobbs was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
