Janet Ward, 37, was arrested at 4:16 p.m., Dec. 9 at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Ward was booked in on a charge of stealing and she was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Esther Simpson, 37, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at Walmart Supercenter located at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Simpson was booked in on a charge of burglary second degree and she was released pending review by the prosecutor.

A juvenile male was arrested at 12:19 a.m., Dec. 10 during a traffic stop on Business Highway 60. The suspect was charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, no proof of insurance, careless and imprudent driving, speeding and minor in possession of alcohol. He was released to his mother at the police department.

A cell phone found at the intersection of Lindsay Street at College Street was turned in to the police department at 10:36 a.m., Dec. 10.

Delmar Dodd, 29, of Piedmont was arrested at 12:42 a.m., Dec. 10 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at 3100 Oak Grove Rd. Dodd was booked in on a charge of assault fourth degree and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

April Marvin reported her car was struck on at 10:08 a.m., Dec. 10 while it was parked on the lot at the UPS Store at 1899 N. Westwood Blvd. The suspect vehicle was later located, and the driver said they didn’t realize they hit the other vehicle. The driver provided proof of insurance and additional information for the accident investigation.

A stolen car was recovered at 10:30 a.m., Dec. 10 at a residence in the 500 block of South Ninth Street.

Alexis Glaze was arrested at 10:53 a.m., Dec. 10 on South Westwood Boulevard following a shoplifting incident at Munch ‘n Pump at 1401 S. Broadway. Glaze was booked in on charges of stealing and property damage, a Butler County warrant for probation violation with a $20,000 bond and a probation/parole warrant for probation violation with no bond. Glaze was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jeremy Davis reported he was robbed at gunpoint at 4:52 p.m., Dec. 10 by a white male he picked up walking on South Westwood Boulevard.

Amber Abbott, 30, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 4:52 p.m., Dec. 10 on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a charge of trespassing with a $182 bond. Abbott was unable to post bond and she was released on her own recognizance.

Jacqueline French reported at 5:40 p.m., Dec. 10 her van was struck while it was parked on the lot at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. The other vehicle left the scene.

Quindarius McGuire, 28, of Jonesboro was arrested at 8:51 p.m., Dec. 10 on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on code violations with a $300 bond. McGuire was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.

Zachary Patterson, 28, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:21 p.m., Dec. 10 during a traffic stop on Westwood Boulevard. Patterson was booked in on a Butler County warrant for probation violation with a $20,000 cash only bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 8:01 a.m., Dec. 11 to Walmart Neighborhood Market at 3001 Oak Grove Rd. for a drug overdose. The victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital. White powder and pills found on the victim’s person were seized and placed into evidence for destruction per Missouri’s Good Samaritan Law.

Jason McGuire, 49, of Cape Girardeau, was arrested at 9:22 a.m., Dec. 11 at Walmart Supercenter. McGuire was booked in on a charge of stealing and he was released on summons.

Charles Coker reported at 9:25 a.m., Dec. 11 his wallet was taken from his residence in the 1900 block of South Broadway. Coke believed an unidentified female he brought to the residence might have taken it.

Joseph Dangerfield, 30, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 11:46 a.m., on Dec. 11 at his residence in the 1100 block of West Harper Street. Dangerfield was booked in on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm; and Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on no insurance with a $450 bond. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Two juveniles were detained for shoplifting at 1:10 p.m., Dec. 11 at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. The juveniles were released to parents at the scene and this matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Treyvond Blackmon, 27, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 2:01 p.m., Dec. 11 at his residence in the 700 block of North 10th Street. Blackmon was booked in on a charge of domestic assault second degree. He was lodged in the Butler County Jail.

A vehicle was towed from the scene of an accident at 6:35 p.m., Dec. 11, after it was determined it was not insured.

Darline Pehle, 26, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 7:58 p.m., Dec. 11 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at 3100 Oak Grove Rd. Pehle was booked in on a Pemiscot County warrant for failure to appear on obstructing police with a $2,500 bond. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Tyriek Ellis, 23, of Poplar Bluff was booked in at 9:21 p.m., Dec. 11 at the police department on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on possession of marijuana charge with a $357 bond. Ellis was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.

A stolen vehicle was found abandoned at 10:21 p.m., Dec. 11 in the 300 block of Hazel Street.
