An employee with Municipal Utilities reported at 8:16 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, two black males in a black Chrysler 300 pointed pistols at him at Sportsman’s Park on East Pine Street.

An employee at Menard’s at 3105 Oak Grove Road reported at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, that on Dec. 30 a white female stole tools from the store; and a white male returned the items for a refund a short time later. The theft was captured on video.

Cheryl Poulin reported at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, a pickup struck her vehicle on the parking lot at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. and left the scene.

Anita Bailey reported at 3:53 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, she was held against her will at a residence in the 2000 block of Holloway Drive, after she confronted two people she thought stole her truck. A white male threatened Bailey with a pistol and kept her from leaving for an hour before a white female told her to leave. Officers responded to the scene and recovered a stolen pickup; but the white male suspect was not at the residence.

Timothy Cheaney reported at 4:17 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, a motorcycle was stolen from his residence in the 600 block of Bartlett Street.

Jennifer Dudley, 54, of Poplar Bluff was booked at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a code violation ($88 bond) and she was released on her own recognizance.

Officers responded at 8:31 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, to a residence in the 1700 block of Seifert Drive. An adult male and adult female each said the other assaulted them during an argument, but neither wanted to press charges.

Brittany Sartin, 28, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at Bacon Park on West Harper Street. Sartin was booked in on a Carter County warrant for a traffic offense ($300 cash-only bond) and she was lodged in the Butler County Jail.

Clayton Holliday, 27, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:32 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at 1124 N. Main St. Holliday was booked in on a charge of burglary 1st degree and a Probation and Parole warrant for parole violation (no bond), and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Ashley Risner, 34, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 4:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Rhodes 101 at 3111 Oak Grove Road. Risner was booked in charges of stealing, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance; and Wayne County warrants for failure to appear on traffic violations ($1,079 cash-only bond) and she was lodged in the Butler County jail.
