Ronnie Cunningham reported at 7:21 a.m., Dec. 1 that a television was stolen from his residence in the 800 block of South 9th Street.

An employee at Poplar Bluff High School reported at 8:46 a.m., Dec. 1 a juvenile student was found in possession of a THC vape device. This matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Glen Moore, 62, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:42 a.m., Dec. 1 during the investigation of a shoplifting incident at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet at 1391 N. Westwood Blvd. Moore was booked in on a charge of stealing and he was released.

Dennis Lloyd reported at 9:44 a.m., Dec. 1 his 2019 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from the parking lot at Drury Inn at 2220 N. Westwood Blvd.

An employee at CVS Pharmacy at 225 N. Westwood Blvd. reported at 2:48 p.m., Dec. 1 an adult female was trying to shoplift in the store. The suspect was confronted and was banned from the store. The employee did not want to press charges.

Matthew Clatt, 36, of Poplar Bluff and Brandy Braden, 32, of Poplar Bluf were arrested at a residence in the 1100 block of Tremont Street at 3:50 p.m., Dec. 1. Clatt was booked in on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on charges of stealing and trespass with a $100 bond. He was unable to post bond and was released on his own recognizance. Braden was booked in on a Wayne County warrant for failure to appear on dangerous drugs with no bond and she was lodged in the Butler County jail.

A juvenile employee at at Wal-Mart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. reported at 4:45 p.m., Dec. 1 that they were assaulted by an acquaintance.

A handgun was found lying in the roadway on Hwy 53 at Hwy 142 at 11:08 p.m., Dec. 1. The owner later called to report the weapon missing, and it was returned.

Stephanie Bailey reported at 11:48 p.m., Dec. 1 she lost her debit card at Mike’s Resale at 1015 W. Harper St. The card was used to make unauthorized purchases at businesses in Poplar Bluff.

Levi Dewberry, 34, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 5:56 a.m., Dec. 2 on the parking lot at Rally’s at 1324 N. Westwood Blvd. Dewberry was booked in on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on charges of trespass and stealing. Dewberry was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.
