MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 30-year-old Poplar Bluff man sustained moderate injuries after a one-vehicle crash Wednesday, Aug. 12, and was later arrested.
Austin T. Dunivan was operating a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, southbound on County Road 523 about 350 feet north of County Road 5231 when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road and overturned.
He was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Dunivan was arrested at 6:25 p.m. that night on suspicion of felon in possession of a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon, possession with intent to distribute (marijuana), felony possession of a controlled substance (acid), and felony possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). He was booked in the Butler County jail.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF
Christopher L. Hacklercade, 22, of the 10 block of County Road 5352 reported at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, that he saw an unknown man “tampering” with a tractor on the side of County Road 604.
According to the report, the man told Hacklercade he was a farm hand and was picked up by a red Chevrolet truck before officers arrived. Tractor owner Marion A. Hicks, 75, of Fisk told officers the tractor had been sitting on his field and he did not give anybody permission to operate it.

Patrick James Deguire, 56, of the 400 block of Broadway Street was booked in the Butler County jail Wednesday, Aug. 12, on suspicion of second-degree assault, driving while intoxicated, and leaving the scene of the accident.

Samantha Nicole Osborn, 33, of the 5000 block of Nellie Sue Circle was booked in the Butler County jail Wednesday, Aug. 12, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and two warrants for operating a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility.

David Michael Simpson, 36, of Ellington was booked in the Butler County jail Wednesday, Aug. 12, on a warrant for stealing.

Demetrius Desean Taylor, 34, of the 100 Megan Lane was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm, a warrant for parole violation and a warrant for armed criminal intent.

Kendrick Dewayne Gribble, 30 of Dexter was booked in the Stoddard County Jail on a warrant for of possession of a controlled substance.
