John Bartucci reported at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, the driver’s side mirror of his truck was damaged by another vehicle at the intersection of Pine and Ninth streets Monday afternoon. Both drivers left the scene of the accident.

Caleb Clark, 25, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:36 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the Probation and Parole Community Supervision Center at 1441 Black River Industrial Park Road. Clark was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense. Clark was unable to post bond but he was released on his own recognizance.

Matthew Pickard reported at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, a black male threatened him with a handgun while they were stopped in traffic on South Broadway.

Elizabeth Nutter reported at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, several items were missing from her residence in the 500 block of North 11th Street.

Christopher Wilmot reported at 5:33 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, a white 2019 Teyin scooter was stolen from his residence in the 800 block of Clare Street.

A white 2018 Jeep SUV abandoned on the lot at Casey’s General Store at 599 E. Pine St. was impounded and towed at 6:33 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8.

Officers responded at 8:11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, to a residence in the 1200 block of Apple Street for a drug overdose. The victim was taken by ambulance to the emergency room.

Ricky Tropf, 42, of Poplar Bluff was detained at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. after he allegedly took store merchandise to the customer service desk for a refund. The merchandise was returned to the store and Tropf was released on a criminal summons for stealing.

Officers responded at 9:37 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, to the area of Tennessee and Midland streets for a person suffering a mental health crisis. The victim was taken to the emergency room for evaluation.

Ashley L. Newkirk, 31, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:32 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Butler County on a warrant for failure to appear on possession of a controlled substance. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Khorine Williams, 43, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:59 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Stoddard County on a Wayne County warrant for violating probation and a Scott County warrant for failure to appear on larceny. She was booked at the Stoddard County jail.

Harold E. Kelsoe, 62, of Williamsville was arrested at 1:34 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Wayne County on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He was released.

Harold E. Kelsoe, 35, of Williamsville was arrested at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Wayne County on suspicion of felony operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license and expired vehicle registration. He was booked at the Wayne County jail on a 24-hour hold.

Joshua T. Wicker, 22, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 6:16 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Butler County on suspicion of DWI (alcohol) and failure to drive on the right half of the road. He was released.
