Jamie Busch reported at 7:50 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, she left $20 cash at the register at Walmart Neighborhood Market at 3001 Oak Grove Road. Employees reviewed video footage and determined that the customer behind Busch picked up the cash.

An adult female reported at 10:43 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, an unidentified black female struck her with a closed fist after she asked the suspect and others to stop walking through her yard in the 1000 block of Park Street. The group left the scene before police arrived.

Officers responded at 11:23 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, to a residence in the 600 block of Selma Street for a subject suffering a mental health crisis. The victim’s spouse said the victim was ‘out of their mind’ and seemed to be under the influence of drugs. The victim was restrained and was taken to the emergency room for evaluation.

Officers responded at 2:24 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, to a disturbance at a residence in the 1200 block of North 10th Street. An adult male and adult female each said the other had assaulted them, but neither wanted to press charges and they agreed to separate.

Joseph A. Clinton, 34, of Ellington was arrested at 2:19 p.m. Monday, Aug, 7, in Reynolds County on a St. Francois County felony warrant for non-support and on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a protection order, driving while suspended, speeding and no seat belt. He was booked at the Reynolds County jail.

Donald M. Taylor, 40, of Hickman, Kentucky, was arrested at 6:26 p.m. Monday, Aug. 7, in Ripley County on suspicion of felony property damage, misdemeanor DWI (alcohol) and failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in an accident. He was booked at the Ripley County jail on a 24-hour hold.

Frederick L. Curtis, 20, of Doniphan was arrested at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, in Butler County on suspicion of DWI. He was booked at the Butler County jail on a 12-hour hold.
