A 65-year-old man sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 3:55 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, on U.S. Highway 60, two miles east of Van Buren.

According to the report, Terra N. Konen, 32, of Van Buren was operating a 2002 Ford F-150 eastbound when it rear-ended an eastbound 1997 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Robert E. Flesch, 65, of Van Buren.

Flesch was transported by West Carter County Ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Dustin L. Woods, 35, of Ellsinore was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, in Carter County on suspicion of misdemeanor DWI, no insurance and failure to drive on the right half of the road. He was released.

Larry R. Wilburn, 36, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee was arrested at 7:50 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, in Butler County on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released.

Dawsey K. Horton, 25, of Essex was arrested at 1:21 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, in Stoddard County on suspicion of DWI (alcohol). He was released.

Edward K. Cleaver, 67, of Fremont was arrested at 1:31 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, in Carter County on suspicion of DWI, failure to drive on the right half of the road, failure to display valid plates, speeding and no seat belt. He was processed and released.

Samuel L. Millmaker, 34, of Piedmont was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine. He was released.

Jeffrey B. Stone, 54, of Bernie was arrested at 1:39 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, in Stoddard County on suspicion of felony driving while suspended, interfering with a traffic stop, failure to register a motor vehicle and failure to comply with ignition interlock requirement. He was booked at the Stoddard County jail on a 24-hour hold.

Andrew B. Worthy, 36, of Puxico was arrested at 11:26 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, in Stoddard County on suspicion of DWI, failure to drive on the right half of the road and no seat belt. He was released.

A 62-year-old man sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 7:02 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, on Highway V, 10 miles north of Williamsville.

According to the report, Scott A. Boatner, 62, of Wappapello was operating a 2016 Ford F-350 northbound when it traveled off the right side of the road, struck a culvert and overturned.

Boatner was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Alicia Holt, 35, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 4:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at a residence in the 2400 block of Maud Street. Holt was booked on a Dunklin County warrant for trespassing and lodged in the Butler County jail.

An employee at Menards at 3105 Oak Grove Road reported at 4:52 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, a customer shoplifted merchandise from the store.

Christina Turner, 46, of Elsinore was arrested at 5:25 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Turner was booked on charges of first-degree burglary, stealing, and trespassing. She was released pending review by the Butler County Prosecutor’s Office.

Officers responded at 7:33 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, to the intersection of Barron Road and Katy Lane for a person suffering a mental health crisis. The victim was taken by ambulance to the emergency room for evaluation.

Jeffery Alsup, 47, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:09 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, during a traffic stop at Jay’s Corner Store at 1040 S. Broadway. Alsup was booked on a Probation and Parole warrant for parole violation and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Shannon Smith reported at 12:07 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, someone made unauthorized transfers using her debit card.

A black 2007 Ford Edge was impounded at 10:19 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, and towed from a traffic stop after it was determined the vehicle was not properly registered and the driver had no proof of insurance. The driver, Tara Miller, 33, of Doniphan, was issued traffic citations and released at the scene.

Rebecca Dunn, 42, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 3:54 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at her residence in the 1900 block of Garfield Street. Dunn was booked on a Dunklin County warrant for first-degree burglary and lodged in the Butler County jail.

An employee at Walgreens at 110 N. Westwood Blvd. reported at 6:47 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, an adult female stole merchandise from the store. The suspect left before the police were called and the store did not want to press charges.

Jazmine Brown, 24, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, during a traffic stop on North Main Street. Brown was booked on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on stealing and traffic offenses. Brown was unable to post bond but she was released on her own recognizance.

Lee Johnson, 52, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:19 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, during a traffic stop on Park Street. Johnson was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a traffic and a Dunklin County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Emily Parkman, 24, of Dexter was arrested at 3:47 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, at a residence in the 500 block of Karen Drive. Parkman was booked on charges of peace disturbance and property damage. She was released pending review by the prosecutor.

Williams was booked on Dunklin County warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses and possession of marijuana. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.
